Zakael...a reminder.

I (dianna) needed this reminder tonite - maybe you do, too.

...the reminder that life change happens.

...the reminder that our God is still in the miracle working business.

...the reminder that we serve a God who sees us...and works on our behalf to make our lives the best they can possibly be. (OH! that we would only cooperate with Him and His grace.)

...the reminder that things can feel and look hopeless and devastating...but it doesn't always stay that way.

The smile says it all. Zakael’s stay on the Africa Mercy was short but in only 7 days his life was changed! A few short weeks ago, Zakael was ashamed of the cyst on his neck and was teased by the neighborhood kids. Now the world awaits this young man who wants to follow in his grandfather’s footsteps and become a soldier. Huge blessings, Zakael!!

I needed the reminder that we are here on a ship called the Africa Mercy off the coast of Madagascar so that lives like Zakael's can be forever changed.

Surely there will be more to come.
